Rumors are going around that Apple will not announce a new iPhone at this year’s WWDC, which is scheduled for June 6-10. Some of these rumors claim to be based on “inside sources,” but others are just speculations based on Apple’s press release. Apple says they will “unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS.” But just because Apple doesn’t specifically mention a new iPhone, doesn’t mean one isn’t going to be announced. Apple has never mentioned an iPhone announcement in its WWDC press releases over the past 4 years, but they have chosen WWDC to unveil the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4.
